Recieve Buffer?

    Id like to increase my numbers from 2144 in my Receive Buffer as suggested by pc-pitstop diagnostic test,to improve my I.E., Browser speed.
    I have xp-Home addition,O.S.
    Where can I find this Receive Buffer,please explain in simple terms.

    In XP, go to Run and type: regedit.

    Navigate to:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters

    Look in the right pane. It is called "GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize". Note that the number in parenthesis is the decimal value that you want to change from or to 2144.
