Recommend Ripping Software

Hi folks,

I ned to rip some MP3's to .wav files or some other format.

Anybody suggest any good software for this?

Well, "ripping" generally refers to pulling songs from CD's, what you want to do is a conversion. Try dbPowerAmp for your needs.

CDA is only a marker for the uncompressed audio data on the CD. The PC equivalent of this uncompressed data is a WAV file.

You can extract the data as WAV with something like Isobuster.

So I guess a WAV is bigger than CDA. :rolleyes:

Why would you want WAV files anyways, they are bigger than MP3s (as in same file, different format)

Cheetah Audio Converter is really good too IMHO it rips, and encodes cdex is good too.
