    Hi everyone,

i am looking for a small business or advanced home use router or firewall that has the ability to schedule the URL filtering.

ex: i want to block youtube at certain time of the days within the week, instead of blocking anytime always.

So far, i have found some models, but they all just let me block the URL at all times.

If anyone happens to work with or know any brand or model, please kindly advise. Thanks !!!

I don't recall Netgear scheduling Firewall Rules at the MAC level. That construct may move from a SOHO Router to an Enterprise/Corporate level appliance.

You could assign an IP statically and block the IP. The DHCP server may also be able to define what IP address based upon the Host Name or MAC address and block the IP.

MAC addresses can be changed too, you know. You would have to take away your workers' or kids' admin rights.

yes, blocking IP is already an option too. It's somewhat hard to find a soho router/FW that has the policy scheduling for blocking...
