    Hey All,

This refers to Page Numbering while working on a document in Google Docs and transferring it to Word. As well as working on a document in Word and transferring it to Google Docs. In assuming these questions assume that this just a general school paper with no advanced formatting such as macros, charts, tables, or graphics Just a conventional average 5-8 page paper that is text only

Which of the following seems to work better?

1.) Creating a document in Google Docs and than after finishing it, opening it in Word and adding page numbers in Word?

2.) Creating a document in Word, and than after finishing it, opening it up in Google Docs (Converted to Google Docs format) and than adding page numbers in Google Docs?

*Note that in the instance of example #1 and #2 the document at first has no page numbers.

3.) Now suppose a document is created in Word already with page numbers. How well will Google Docs convert the document?

4.) Now suppose a document is created in Google Docs with page numbers. How well will that convert to Word? For reference, I use Word 2010. In answering this question, mention what version of Word that you have.

If you don't mind me asking - why do you need to convert the text from one format to the other? Why not just stick with one? But to answer your question - I would probably write a documents in doc, and then open it in Word (2010, but a limited version). And then add the numbers.
