Recommendations for security training?

If anyone would recommend a structured training program on Internet security and privacy issues, I'd be really grateful. My skills are beginner-level; I learn best in a hands-on environment that allows me to go at my own pace; and I'm interested in this as a possible career path. Thanks much

That looks a great site to get expereince from. What I have learnt in being on the web in terms of security, etc, is having a good read.

This one is my favourite, although its not updated regularly, its pretty indepth.
