Does anyone have any recommendations as to a decent e-mail program along the lines of Outlook Express?

I've tried Incredimail, but it's heavily memory intensive.

I think you meant Thunderbird. Firefox is the web browser, Thunderbird is the Email program. I've been using Thunderbird exclusively for about 2 years now. I've been very happy with it.
