Is it possible to record streaming audio from the internet? Or is that even legal? I wouldnt be distributing it or anything, I would just be using it for personal use when I am not online. The site I want to copy from is
Here and I use RealPlayer10 as my default player.

    Is it possible? - Yes
Is it legal? - That depends

Put simply, you can set your recording control via mixer to use the "stereo mixer" or equivalent. Then you can use whatever program you want to record it as it plays. e.g total recorder, cool edit, sound forge etc.

If you want the other option, search google for stream rippers.

Stream rippers theirselves are not illegal. What you do with them might be though.

    You could try Streamripper
I have installed the Winamp plugin, but directions are given on the site for other ways to use in.

Like I said, I will only be using it for personal use. I wont be selling any of it or distributing it via kazaa or p2p.
