i cannot record any sound either by microphone or webcam. I am running Windows 98SE, with a Creative Soundblaster pci 128 soundcard. Everything else works fine as far as audio is concerned.
I have downloaded the latest drivers and check leads are correctly installed.
    Any suggestions?

Hi Topaz,go to Start>Settings>control panel>multimedia>click on the recording icon>Make sure the volume slider is up and that there is a check mark in select.Go to sound recorder and test your mic there, the green line should spick when you speak
