recovering hidden file,w/ no password

    is it possible to recover my file which i tried to hide from others.but now have totally hidden from myself!when i search for it the file name will eventually show but reads no content.what can i do?thank you.

    How did you 'hide' the file, with a program?

    If via Windows properties try; Control Panel - folder options - view - check show hidden files and folders

    Are you select to "Show Hidden Files and Folders" and uncheck the "Hide Protected Operating System Files". You can find this setting under the Tools->Folder Options and the "View" tab.
