Hi...I am new to to this forum. I need help (obviously). I recently discovered a virus (PWSteal.Tarno.E) that was located in cmd32.dll. Out of frustration, I deleted the application. Now when I load my settings, I get an error message, "This application has failed to start because cmd32.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem" I don't know how to do this. I tried a system recovery to an earlier point in time, but that didn't work. I can't find any help online. Please help. Thanks in advance.

After researching this "problem" online, I seem to understand that winupd.exe should not even exist on my computer...does anyone know is this should be removed? I have located this file and placed in it my recycle bin...but I don't know if I should delete it. winupd.exe seems to be a hacking program (albeit useless wo/ cmd32.dll). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
