I recently purchased a wireless router in order to construct a home office network with other computers in the house. To do this, I created a workgroup. However, my laptop computer was part of a "domain" from an employer that I am no longer employed. I never changed anything since my computer was running fine and there were no problems (I figured changing things would be a headache).

So when I switched to a workgroup, I was no longer able to log into my laptop. So I simply created another user name and was able to complete my network....seemed like everything was find. BUT now I can't find the "my documents" folder from my previous user name, which had a ton of information that I MUST have. Is there any way to retrieve or recover these files???

    Please HELP!!
