    Dear King101:
    Hello & Welcome to TechGuy.org .

There seem to be multiple Series 3 Samsung laptops.
    Here's 1. http://www.samsung.com/us/computer/laptops/NP300V3A-A01US

When did the computer last work well? Sometimes the exact date is important.

What happened when your Samsung failed? Any warnings or error messages; unusual behavior that might suggest a virus or other malware? A smell similar to something burned; a particularly hot area of the computer? An unusual sound? Had some feature of the laptop stopped working?

What changed? An electrical power failure or surge; installatin or removal of hardware or software; an update to W7 or a program?

Have you tried to repair W7?

    Have you run any diags?
HDD diags. You will need to know your HDD manufacturer.

    Ram diags.
Run for at least 8 hours, or until an error appears.

well the truth is i dont really know when it starts up, it says that a hardware or software change has caused windows to fail to startup and i tried various things along with my friends, but this was the last option. i managed to complete the clean install but now the problem is that it still displays the same error message of being unable to startup.

Please provide the exact & complete text of the message.

Is it a blue background with white text?

Did you use an authentic Windows 7 DVD from Microsoft or create an install disk from edit a download end edit?

Please try the repair option, mentioned in my 1st reply.

By marking the thread solved, some forum members will not view the thread because solved means that the person who started the thread no longer needs help.

    Which takes me back to:

A recovery disk is neither a W7 repair disk nor a W7 install disk.

A recovery disk is designed to re-install Windows and all of the programs that Samsung thinks you need.

    Your problem is:
    1. a faulty recovery disk; scratched, gunk on it, or similar
    2. hardware.

    1. test the ram, either by running your computer on only 1 stick, if your computer has > 1 stick or ram; and running diags, or running diags with all ram sticks installed.

    2. Run diags on your HDD.

    If
included changing things in the BIOS, such as overclocking your CPU or ram OR GPU, reset the BIOS for normal clocking.

    Is this your Samsung 3?

The manual or FAQs might provide assistance for re-setting your BIOS if your earlier troubleshooting had included BIOS changing.
