Had a problem with Windows 10 Mail App so called MS support, gave access to laptop, tech deleted one of two accounts with the same email address w/ different passwords and she promised me it would not delete the good account - it did. Her supervisor had me run a Restore date of 10/2 which I did but it resolved nothing-my mail app account emails are still gone. Can they be recovered from somewhere on the hard drive?

personally as MS did this , and assured you that you would not have an issue - I would get back onto them to resolve for you.
I have had MS provide support on a couple of issues and usually they want you to make sure all data are backed up.
They are a little remise to have not advised you the risks . I suspect on the remote tool , they have a clause in the T&Cs when you agree to allow access

What email are you using - just the bit after the @
it may have been setup as IMAP or Exchange and so the mails should still be on server, if setup ss POP , then may have all have been deleted
