    I opened Recycle Bin and at the top under the address bar thing it says:

    ::{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}

    I just got a program called Xen (www.x9000.net) and it started doing that ever since.

    Why?

    Howdy KeithKman...

    I've never used that software, but {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} is a registry entry...

    Is there any way you can post a screen shot ?

    Here is the screen shot...It happens when I use the program at the right called "SysMetrix". If I click on the recycle bin icon on my desktop it shows up normaly. But if I use the program at the right it comes up with all those numbers.

    Ahhh...SysMetrix...looks like a system monitoring software...

    Couldn't realy make out the screen shot, but maybe it's telling you the location of the Recycle bin in the registry ??

    Might do a search in the registry for the location 645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E, and see what it shows...

    Yep that's what it's doing, haven't used the software, but it is definitely pointing to the location of the Recycle Bin in the registry ( see LocalizedString in the screen shot )...

    Well...

    Looks to me like everything is ok, there may be some settings in the SysMetrix software as to not to show the location, or some settings in Windows ( like Show full path in address bar, maybe )...

    Also I'm glad you posted the SysMetrix looks like an interesting piece of software, I think I'll download it and play with it...

    SysMetrix tells time, date, uptime, CPU usage, RAM usage, Swap used, Hard Drive space and how much is used, trash monitor, e-mail, mouse loaction, and WinAmp.

    I love the program. You can make it transparents and stuff.
