I'm running Win 7,64 bit,Home Premium,16 GB. I changed my Windows recycle bins with Toxic waste recycle bin icons from Icon Archive. I forgot how I did it before, I just reformatted my computer, to enter it into the registry so the lid of the recycle bin opens when it's full and closes when it's empty. I entered the default, full and empty almost the same but I must be a hair off somewhere. Just as an example I entered the empty: c:\icons\toxic waste.ico,0. Can anyone help? Would be appreciated.

Hello Schafe and Wecome to TSG.

You don't have to change anything in the registry. And it advisable not to play around there. To change the recycle bin icon, and any system icons, all you need to do is Right click the desktop \ Personalize \ Change Desktop Icons. Highlight the recycle bin icon (Full) (Empty) Click Change Icon and point it to were you store the new icons and apply. That's it!
