hi i really need help. Everytime i play red alert 2, after about 3 matches on skirmish i get an error message and it automatically closes. Also, lately i have not been able to play the game online, if i try it just says its connecting, then says check your internet connection. The problem is my internet connection is fine.

When im on yuris revenge, after a few matches on skirmish the game just freezes, meaning that i cant access the task manager or return to the desktop to stop the game, so i am forced to restart my pc.

i am using windows xp service pack 1, getting service pack 2 soon, i have 512MB RAM, 3.1 processor (AMD Athlon). please help me!!!

    thanks.

RA2 and XP are notorious. And I think SP2 makes it worse.

As for the problem, is it only in RA2 or does it happen in other games. Also for the internet, if you are behind a router, you will need to forward the ports to your computer.

If it happens in other games, perhaps you are having a hardware issue. What video card are you using?

The best bet will be going to Start > Run > type dxdiag and press enter. Under the Display tab, note the name and memory size.

I would prefer getting NVIDIA 7600 or more. But Make sure you power supply has enough power to handle it.
