Redirect/Jump in Google Search

Hello.

I am running MS XP 2002 Service Pack 2 Intel (R) Pentium(R) 4CPU 3.20 Ghz 3.18 GHz 504 MB RAM Physical Address Extension
This is a computer on a network with multiple users. My tech people cannot help.
When one searches from google toolbar or goolge homepage they are redirected to different sites.
Sometimes a grey loading wheel is in top left corner of browser page
If you hit back button and reclick on link it goes to correct site
