Test the headphones on another computer/device to ensure that they actually work.

What type of headphones are these (ie: 3.5mm jack or USB)?

For USB headphones to work in Windows, the software/drivers will need to be installed. The software/drivers should be available from the headphone manufacturers website. Ensure you are using the latest version.

If/when the software/drivers install properly, you will see the device listed in the audio devices when they are connected.

Contact the manufacturer. It won't work until the software/driver is installed.
