    Hi Guys,

On both my old Gateway monitor and the Dell that I currently have (6 years, and about 3 years respectively) because of our house/room configuration I have no choice but to have the computer installed in a room with a lot of sunlight during the noon hours, and it beats on the screen. Both units had/ have some small distortion on the screen's upper-left hand side because of this. (Color fade or burn in.) Are there sun shields or other forms of protection for monitor screens to prevent this problem? My next system will have a more modern flat-screen panel. Do flat-screens do anything to help solve this problem?

    Jack
