reformat

    i reformated my laptop and when i switch the laptop off and put it back on the screen when blank and it say press any key to reboot the cd dive i never present anythink and the it made a loud beebing noise does any1 now what to do cause i havent got a clue :(

    What did you do after you formated? . . have you installed a Operating system?

    that would be the key question. It is most saying press any key to BOOT from the cd, which leads me to believe you have something in there, at least.

    when it made the beebing noise it was cos i ahd my cd in it so i took it out and nothink comes up what wouldi have to do go to my bios amd do somthin am not reall good on computers sorry if that nt much help :(

    its a fujitsu siemens laptop and i installed product recovery cd-rom (windows xp home edition sp2 if that helps you
