Reformatting hard drive

I'm selling my pc (getting a really good new one - yipee!!) and need to wipe my hard drive. I want to complete erase everything and reinstall windows 98 se and other software. However, I have lost my sheet of paper with the step by step instructions on how to do this. I have scoured the internet but not found anything useful. Does anyone have a copy they can e-mail me or know where I can find it and print it out? All help appreciated. Thanks!!
