Regestry Cleaner

    Anyone know of a good one? Always to scared to download some random one off the internet. Cheers

    I Use Regseeker, I have found it to be very useful with all of the options it has. however when you use the "clean registry" option, you need to check the files before you delete. and make sure you arent deleting files associated with programs you are still using. you can get it here:

    I can recommend "Registry First Aid" and the cleaner part of "Tune Up Utilities," the rest of which is also helpful. I let them 'do their thing' every day. I have never had a bad consequence since employing them. Go to Google for the download urls. {redoak}

    I use PC Tools Registry Mechanic but it isn't free. I like it!!

    i too use this program and it is very useful, little chance of deleting required files either. with this program, outpost firewall, and mcafee virus i can really say windows isnt so bad.... :cool:

    Heck,, Regseeker is a GREAT program. I've just got done working with it, and Regseeker run circles around the other so called Registry Cleaners. And it does have a few other helpful options. THANKS......

    I also use crap cleaner. I include this on all of my builds. This app does a great job of both cleaning junk from your hd and cleaning the registry.
