I am looking at 3 free REGISTRY CLEANERS:
    EASY CLEANER
    REGSCRUB XP
    TWEAKNOW REGCLEANER STD.
I would appreciate comments on these-I am an intermediate user-WIN XP,and just want to have a decent cleaner.

I would check the forum for the problems the average user has had using registry cleaners.
I know a lot have no problems, but they also can create major problems it you don't know what you are doing. (Not saying that you don't)
I never use them, if I want something changed in the registry, I do it manually myself and always have a backup.

I recommend not using one at all but if you have to, use Easy Cleaner. Also, make sure you back-up the registry before you change it.

Don't use easy cleaner if you can help it. If you do use it DO NOT USE REMOVE DUPLICATE FILES. It took not only the duplicates but the originals as well. The registry diappeared up its own.......and I had to reinstall windows xp and it still doesn't work well re my other problem BSOD's!!!!
