First off apologies if this question is in the wrong section. I had a problem with this computer a few days ago which was solved here and it proved to be my free antivirus. I was thinking to uninstall it but then I thought also maybe I should remove any trace of it in the Registry. I typed in regedit and found the antivirus folder in the registry but also found folders from other free antivirus I've used over the years. I did a search here and found registry cleaners aren't recommended so being the computer dork that I am I'm wondering is it safe for me to simply delete the antivirus folders?
