registry is resetting itself!

    My registry resets itself after each boot. For example, i could create a key that says "test" in it, reboot, and that key would be gone. I have system restore off. I am not cold booting. This problem is preventing me from installing ANYTHING, because the program's registry keys later get deleted. I have no 3rd party programs designed to clean the registry.

    Any help is appreciated!
