    Hi Bill P

I've been using it for about 6 months and it's never flashed anything up in anger yet - the only time it asks if I want to accept a registry key is when it is legitamate - but it's there for if a problem does occur - whether it's really needed I dont know - I suppose you only find that out if you do get a problem

Registry Prot is a registry protector. A small Antipodean utility that sits in your memory doing absolutely nothing: until, that is, another program, web page or whatever tries to write to your registry. Then all hell breaks loose. It may be a tiny utilitiy but - eee, 'eck, lad, it don't 'alf work well. Worth it's weight in gold. Unlike gold merchants, however, they're giving it away for free.

That's what this site has to say :-

I thank you for your information. I am somewhat of a security nut and want to have all that I need.

It's a very useful application. No probs here, neither on Win 98 nor on WinXP.
