registry question

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap

    can anyone tell me about the zone map?? what is this for?? Why are these entries here and what do they mean??? Does anyone know??

    It contains a map of the security zones set in Internet Settings in the Control Panel.

    For example, to add "restricted.com" to the Restricted zone, create a new subkey:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\restricted.com

    Then, under the sub-key create a new DWORD value called "*" and set it to equal "4".
