I have an HP pavilion dv4-1555dx laptop that I was trying to install Linux mint 10 gnome on a PNY 8GB flash drive, I forgot to have Linux install grub to the flash drive, so it ended up installing grub to the HDD, now I need to reinstall the windows 7 boot loader but HP didn't send a windows 7 boot disk with the system (OEM windows 7) so I can't jut boot the cd and use the recovery counsel unless there is somewhere online that I can get an iso from, or is there another way?

If you tap F8 continuously after pressing the power button and choose "Repair Your Computer" and then from a .cmd prompt you can use the rest of this article which is for Vista or 7 without using the Windows dvd called for:

You can burn a Repair disc from within Win 7, handy to have if you can't get to the F8 menu.
    Boot into Win 7
Click Start, type recdisc.exe and press Enter, insert a blank CD or DVD, make sure the burner is the selected drive, and click Create Disc.

This gives you the same tools as in the Repair your Computer option from the F8 menu, it's the same WIM image file that is being used for both.
