Reloading Vista

My Sony Vaio came with Vista home premium. But no CD of OS came with it. Laptop got virus infected recently. After it was cleaned, how am I to load back official Vista.

If you bought this pc new then you would have the OS disk. If used, guess not. Even if only the OEM version of Vista it should have come with the pc if bought new. Only choice without the disk and a need for a fresh install is to buy it.

THere is usually a second partition on the Hard drive that contains the restoration Files. Are you saying that you had to format the hard drive to rid your system of virus's? There is usually a key sequence to press during boot up to start the restoration process. If you need to you can go to the Vaiao web site and look up your system and find the users manual for it. In there it should tell you how to do the system restoration to factory specs.

Press F10 continuously after pressing power button and until you enter Recovery Partition.
