I hope someone can explain to me why the hidden Default.rdp Remote Desktop Connection file on my computer shows that I had a remote connection on 11/14/2016 9:54 AM? Would a Windows update cause that?

I never have initiated a remote desktop connection. A series of files .dll files appear in Windows (C:) on my computer from the minutes following that connection. I'm just confused and hope someone has some answers. Thanks.

It doesn't mean someone connected to your computer.

Thanks but I understand it does not mean that someone connected to my computer. My question was what would cause it and whether a windows update would cause it.

Someone used RDP on your computer.

I am the only one who uses my computer or has access to my computer so no one used RDP on my computer. And I didn't. What else could cause it?

Delete the file. It's not something I would worry about.
