Running Win 2ooo on a P2 350MHz Dell-based home-made machine. Have reinstaklled the Op system twice now (luckily all my data are kept on separate aprtitions) but somehow the system keeps acting wierd: A: drive and CDROM, CDRW cannot read any media: I am setting CMOS to 'autodetect' both my hard drive ant the removables, and it does so fine, but when I open explorer and click on a (removable media) drive, I just get "Please insert disk" but there is already a disk IN!!! happens on A:, and both CD drives. been going round and round for WEEKS now - HHHEEELLLPPP!!!!
