    Hello,

I'm having a bit of a weird issue with track changes showing some author names and not others, apparently without regard to the document settings:
    • Doc was originally created in Word 2007; the "Remove personal information from file properties on save" box is UNCHECKED and grayed out.
    • I am using Word 2010. When I make changes or comments, my name shows up as the author and this information is successfully saved with the file. Others are able to see my name as the author.
    • My colleague is using Word 2007. When he makes changes or comments and hits save, he shows up as "%USERNAME%" (but my name stays on my comments). I have checked his settings and the "Remove personal info" box is UNCHECKED and grayed out.
Is this some sort of compatibility issue between Word 2007 and Word 2010? Something else? Any ideas? Any help is appreciated.

Also, in case it matters, I and my colleague are both using Windows 7.
