I have a notepad icon on my desktop that says "strclearinner" under it. I deleted it to the recycle bin the first two times that it happened. If anyone has heard of this and can tell me why it is there or what I should do with it, please let me know. I did a hijackthis log but i didnt find it. I would like it to stay gone if i dont need it.

From what I can find that comes from iMesh5.

Move HJT into a permanent folder as you are running it from a TEMP folder.

Run HJT again and put a check in the following:

O2 - BHO: DownloadRedirect Class - {00000000-6CB0-410C-8C3D-8FA8D2011D0A} - F:\Program Files\iMesh\iMesh5\iMeshBHO.dll (file missing)
O2 - BHO: iMeshBar BHO - {5345A7A1-805A-4923-B505-86B2FEBA3FE0} - E:\Program Files\iMeshBar\bar\2.bin\IMESHBAR.DLL (file missing)
O3 - Toolbar: iMeshBar - {5345A7A9-805A-4923-B505-86B2FEBA3FE0} - E:\Program Files\iMeshBar\bar\2.bin\IMESHBAR.DLL (file missing)

Close all applications and browser windows before you click "fix checked".

Reboot and let us know if it comes back or not.

Here's how I removed strClearInner:
First I opened the file, a bunch of strange code appears. Select all of the coding, cntrl A or however, then press delete so that you now have a blank notepad file. Then go to File - Save. You have now saved a blank file in its place. Now throw strClearInner in the recyle bin, empty it, and it should stay gone forever.

You may need to throw away the strClearInner file from its other location. For some reason it appears twice on your computer. Go to My computer, C:, Docs and settings, then open folder with name of the user that has the file (your windows log on name), scroll down and it should appear there as well. Do the same on that if the first part above doesn't clear it out right away.
