removeing a BIOS password

If you have the current password, you enter the BIOS and change it to blank. If you don't have the password, you open it up and locate the "clear BIOS" jumper, set it to clear for a few seconds, put it back, and boot. If there is no "clear BIOS" jumper, you remove the battery, and I recommend overnight to make sure any caps discharge.
