With all the great info here to set up a network, hate to ask but - how can I remove a network. Searched Google. Have XP Home on main computer, Win Me on second computer. Any site with steps? Want to remove the second desktop and replace it with a Laptop with Xp Pro. Tried changing config - no luck. Thanks to all.

Why are you "removing" any network? You no longer want to connect them together?

Well, all you have to do is go into Network Properties, and remove all the components you see there. Then, open Device Manager, and disable the NIC. You won't see any more prompts for the network, and it won't be there. :)
