I have XP PRO. and have copied an image of my system to a seperate drive, about 15 GB. How do I go about removing the image without formating the drive?

That didn't work. It said that it was too large for the recycle bin

I recall (either on XP Home or older OSs) that if the file is too large for the Recycle Bin, it will say that and offer you to permanently delete it, skipping the Recycle Bin.

Did it say "too large for recycling bin/ do you want to delete anyway?"

Something like that?
