LOOKING THOUGH THE ever increasing number of software i have downloaded on my computer(such as demo games, morpheous, etc.)many i seldom use,i was wondering what advantages there would be to remove them.

although the computer's hard drive is 7.5,only about 2gb is ever used.

The main thing to watch out for is that these programs aren't loaded automatically at startup.

If they were, that would mean diminished system resources ('memory'), and possible conflicts with other running applications.

Check Msconfig/startup, and make sure nothing is starting up you don't absolutely want to.

If the programs are not loaded automatically at startup, the only gain would be increased disk space, which is also a good thing, obviously.

    Cheers,
