Removing shortcut arrows on Icons

    Is there a way to remove the shortcut arrows on the desktop icons??

    I am sure there is a registry change you can make. Most people do it with TweakUI. There will be Power Tools for Vista, but I do not know when they will be coming out. I am sure there are other Third party utilities to do it but here is the manual way to do it.

    Just read an article that TweakUI will work in Vista .. If run in XP compatibility mode.
    Of course .. I believe all that I read .. (on other forums)

    Don't believe it I tried everything Noyb. I was able to install earlier version 133 but it didn't do very much...

    If you do that, then the links to the games won't work (Start / Games )

    So if you want to do that, then create shortcuts on the desktop first.
