It would appear quite simple to remove the need for a windows 7 password at login

one user on the PC and she does not want it to ask for a password
so she logs into the PC
control panel > users >
sees here user account

remove password option

she can click on that and the password is removed

now when she boots up the PC - it nolonger asks for a password

just checking thats correct - before i do it for a friend !!!!!!

and no problems likely - i understand the layer of security she is removing - but its a desktop , so not a laptop out and and about

thanks

Thanks Derek,
I assume thats reliable - I dont want to suggest a method and have the user locked out or a problem on the PC
