ok i am a noob on this forum so if this post is in the wrong section im sorry, i just figured hey, cell phones, thats business related. anyway i have a nokia 5300 music xpress. a few months back the screen broke and i finally had enough money ($26; im a broke college kid haha) and fixed it. well while i was fixing it i broke the mic, it seems like they made it so you cant fix the screen without breaking the mic. i found a mic online, but can anyone here give me advice on how ot fix it? i found a video online but it is in spanish and doesnt cover everything about it

Most of what I found was of the "yep, sometimes DIY projects go awry - you need a pro" nature - sorry. Nokia has a specs pdf that might help you (I recently had to do a system restore and my PC is slowly rebuilding itself and all the upgrades, and I couldn't get Adobe to work).
They will also look at out-of-warranty phones with this proviso (from the site)
"If the out of warranty device is "repairable", you will be contacted by the Nokia Authorized Service Center with a repair quote before the repair can begin. Prices vary by product and the nature of the repair. If the device is deemed "unrepairable" it will be returned to you without prior notification."
Sorry - maybe another can help more.
