Hey everyone! i kinda dropped my laptop and the power-connector has come away from it's socket, pulling out a wire with it. So i'm stuck with a partly connected power socket. Is it reparable via soldering or something?

PS Warranty is not an option XD

CAn you post a photo of it? You might have to unseal the box and resolder the connections.

Most A/C plugs on laptops can be re-soldered easily enough. Some of them (such as most Toshiba's) are just plug-in installations. The kicker is that you have to be comfortable with disassembling your laptop. There are plenty of depot service operations that will do this for something like $130. You can either contact your laptop manufacturer, or do an online search for other alternatives.
