repeated e-mails

    I seem to get the same email message repeated 2/3 times often - why and
    how do i stop this please?

    One possibility if you are using outlook express is that you account is set to leave message on server.
    If you are using OE the go to OE tools and account highlight you account and click properties then advanced and see if the box for leave message on server is checked.

    You may also have a corrupt POP3UIDL.DBX file.Close OE and delete that file. It will be recreated when you re-open OE. One more download to get pop3uidl.dbx up to date (OE uses this file to keep track of what has already been downloaded), and you should be all right.

    Sure would be nice to have a listing of what all the dll do and are responsible for.

    I often stumble across these things by accident myself, through a Google web or Groups search, but I do make a point of filing them right away.
