Tried posting this in the hardware section and no one has responded in 10 days so I figured I'll post it here and see what happens.

I have been having troubles with Direct X while playing Ragnarok Online (AnimaRO). Other computers I play this on don't have a problem. After I play for a while, maybe 1.5 - 2 hours straight the video will freeze while audio and the rest of the game continues. I am able to alt tab out of the game and terminate the process but when I try to start the game it says there is a problem with Direct 3D and closes the program.

I ran dxdiag and indeed there were direct 3D errors. The only way I have been able to get the game to work is uninstalling and re-installing the video card through the device manager or restarting the computer. I do this only to have direct 3D crash within another hour of game play. There must be a better way to fix this problem.

    This is still an issue!

I re-installed windows and the game still crashes. What's wrong with my video card and/or directX?

    Please Reply! :(
