    Hi Folks,

    Any advice would be appreciated.

I have a ASUS RAMPAGE IV EXTREME MOBO running 16GB RAM and a 1000 watt PSU, I am wanting to know if a GTX 1060 0r 1070 would be compatible with this set up ?.

    Many thanks

    First Name:
ASUS RAMPAGE IV EXTREME (support site)

It has multiple PCI Express 3.0 X16 slots for adding one or more NVIDIA graphic cards.

I don't see any reason why it would not support a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or 1070 graphic card.

It should work fine. I checked the support page for that board and there are LOT of bios updates that address both compatibility and stability. If you are not running the latest bios, you may want to consider updating the bios. If you do decide to update the bios, be sure you read and FULLY understand the flashing procedure.
