    I'm wondering if this would be possible, I've currently got 4 computers, including my xbox 360, and I would like to replace my router with a 8 port switch. I believe my modem is capable of performing NAT and DHCP services. Would this setup work? Would I still be able to share an internet connection between the computers.

    Modem=Speedstream 5200

    If your modem is a Modem/Router combo then it should be fine. But you could always buy the switch and attach it to your router.

    The Speedstream 5200 is a modem/router, so that would be correct.
