my Secure Resolutions Anti Viral Software sent me a message saying that I had a virus and then shortly thereafter my computer crashed. Had to call Dell, restore my whole system. Some of my data files on my exterior hard drive were also infected. the files have a .vir prefix now. My question is -- can I restore them to the original program and use them again?

    Thanks.
