How do I resize (smaller) a windows media player screen so that the video is resized, rather than cropped? so I can boost fps...or, how do I get sound in a .avi preview in file properties?

    Hiya

Using the actual WMP, you can remove all the added extras on it by going to View and choosing some of the options.

However, for the actual resizing, are you mean making smaller by, say, half, but not losing any resolution?

You could take a look here:

    http://nickyguides.digital-digest.com/makefilm.htm

just do a Find using CTRL-F and put in resizing.

The other question about .avi sound: Is that when you download an avi but there is no sound? Well, there are some codecs:

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/release.asp?ReleaseID=31921&area=search&ordinal=5

But, are they DiVX or just AVI?
