I've just installed Bootvis of Microsoft in order to speed up the start up of windows.
When I try to run the program I get the following messages:
    1) c:\programs\microsoft bootvis\bootvis.exe
a periferic linked to the system is not working
    2) error during the start up of the program:
the file bootvis.exe is linked to a missing export kernel32.dll: globalmemorystatusex

I've translated those sentences from Italian, so they're probably not 100% correct but that's the sense.
    What does all this mean?
    Thank you!!

Make sure you choose 'Trace' the first time, then optimize. If you get a write caching warning, you can ignore it.

For what it's worth MS no longer has Bootvis available for download.
