For some reason I can't get my network working properly. I had it up and running before and I can't think of what is wrong this time. Also, I checked the connection between the two computers, it is connected properly and the three little lights (10/100, Half/Full, LN/Act) are all on.
Here are my TCP/IP settings...
BINDINGS
Client for Microsoft Net. is checked.
ADVANCED
Property = allow binding; Value = No
NETBIOS
Blank
DNS CONFIG
disabled
GATEWAY
blank
WINS CONFIG
disabled
IP ADDRESS
Desktop 192.168.1.1 (Both IP and Subnet)
Laptop 192.168.1.2 (Both IP and Subnet)
I also tried 192.168.100.*
The problem is when I double click on "Entire Network" in Network Neighborhood I get the message:
'Unable to browse the network.
The network is not accessible.....'
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx
