When I get an email with a link (i.e. that I have a reply to a thread in this forum) it won't take me to the site.
When I click on it, nothing happens..............what have I disabled when I have been 'tweaking'....??.....:D

    Running XP Pro+SP1.

Normally, you need to display html format to enable links. You may have set it to display text only as a security setting.

The fixes in this MS KB article have worked for me on several different computers to fix the problem you're having.

    Many thanks.....now fixed.
I think it was because I had Opera 7 installed and then dumped it.
Getting I.E.6 to check that it was the default browser........clicking 'yes'..........fixed it.
I can now open links sent via email.
Lots of thanks for your help...........it was the MS article by Miz that worked and thank for the info by rawmeat......I checked that as well.
    Cheers............job done............:D
